LB Services is looking for a qualified Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager for a full-time position in Kuwait, in support of LOGCAP V CENTCOM.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
o Serve as the QA/QC Manager for the LOGCAP Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services of power, fuel, and aircraft services and client interface as required;
o Responsible for the development of a QA/QC and inspection program which meets the provisions of the LOGCAP Action Plan (AP) and manufacturer’s recommendations and/or Government specifications;
o Review the production activities and capabilities in light of quality requirements;
o Ensure that the staff understands the maintenance and or repair requirements;
o Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of the staff’s quality or inspection system including in-house sampling plans;
o Analyze quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the crew's quality or inspection system;
o Verify by test or inspection that products used comply with contractual requirements before they are utilized;
o Request corrective action by the crew when inadequacies are detected in the inspection system or quality program;
o Coordinate the disposition of nonconforming products and materials;
o Fulfill your duties and responsibilities for controlling O&M services quality in accordance with contractual requirements, and that the completed O&M services conform to specifications and/or manufacturer’s recommendations.
o Investigate customer complaints and deficiency reports, and provide identification of causes to appropriate activities;
o For maintenance of major items, review and recommend approval/disapproval of work over and above that contractually authorized; and where applicable, perform quality assurance support activities at the crew’s level;
o Become familiar with the Action Plan (AP) and provide daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by the AP;
o Maintain close relationships with the prime contractor and USG to ensure all their requirements are fully met in accordance with the task order and prime contract requirements;
o Assist in the review and approval of all subcontractors and suppliers invoices prior to submitting to ensure that work has been completed according to contract requirements;
o As directed by the Task Order Manager.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
o Manage all required QA/QC programs follow-on PACOM sustainment operations;
o Coordinate with the Task Order Manager all activities related to site development and construction to ensure that quality of work is being implemented;
o Ensure that Operations and Maintenance services are performed and being met to a good quality standard;
o Follow all LBAS standard policies and practices;
o Other duties as determined.
Essential Qualifications:
o Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance program for O&M Services;
o Knowledge of quality assurance/control methods, principles, and practices, including statistical analysis and sampling techniques;
o Knowledge of pertinent product characteristics and applicable production maintenance, or repair methods and processes;
o Knowledge of inspection, test, and measurement techniques;
o Knowledge of the relationship of quality assurance to other activities such as contract administration, engineering, supply;
o Skill in conducting studies and investigations, problem analysis, and developing logical and documented recommendations;
o Experienced working in international work environments in an expatriate or US military status
Desirable Qualifications:
o Knowledge of standards, procedures, methods, and techniques applicable to construction projects including construction equipment, materials, and utility systems;
o Knowledge and skill sufficient to advise or formally instruct supervisors and employees on safety techniques, proper storage of hazardous materials, common laboratory hazards, and building evacuation procedures;
o Skill in interpreting and applying product specifications, technical data, regulations, policy statements, and other guideline materials;
