Louis Berger Services is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the MCT Coordinator (Lead) position to support LOGCAP V in Iraq.

  1. Responsible for the development of logistical plans, policies, and procedures necessary to provide support in the logistics areas of supply, transportation, maintenance, and services.
  2. Responsible for Monitoring, coordinating, advising, and assisting all DOD civilians and contractors when moving in and out of Theater (Deployment and Redeployment) via Military/Commercial Air. Recommends and coordinates the logistics support structure to perform the logistics functions of the project.
  3. Lead the interface between logistics functions such as transportation, PAX movement and passport shuttling to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer.
  4. Lead the Coordination with customers to ensure desired movement objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management. Analyzes work processes and develops metrics for measurement of performance.  
  5. Preparing adequate documentation for each delivery, following freight-packaging guidelines and requirements as well as marking and labeling hazardous materials according to standard safety regulations
  6. Lead movement control support effort for the surface & Air movement of cargo and personnel through the U.S. Military Transportation System (TPS3). Responsible for receiving, validating, and processing, all Transportation Movement Requests (TMR), Joint Movement Requests (JMRs) & Air Movement Requests (AMRs) for the personnel and equipment transiting, originating, terminating, and assigned MCT Area of responsibility.


  1. Must be a US Citizen with a valid passport and must have or ability to obtain a security secret clearance.
  2. must possess working knowledge of Movement Automation Query Systems such as GTN, GDSS, GATES, ITV, etc. Able to communicate effectively with military personnel, understand military flight information and local policies.
  3. Ability to read and understand Air Load Plans.
  4. Must understand DOD movements terminology and be able to troubleshoot problems.
  5. JOB Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree and 1-3 years of experience Prefer 88N or previous MCT experience
  6. Typically requires 3-5 years LNO experience in a related field.
  7. Must have strong computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, Access and Power Point -2T2 (AF AFSC) or 88N (Army MOS) plus and HAZ cargo cert a plus.
  8. Must possess a valid passport and driver license.
  9. It should be understood that employment is located in a potentially dangerous area, including combat or war zones. This might involve the possibility of suffering harm by dangerous forces or friendly fire. These dangers are inherent to working conditions in a dangerous environment.
