Louis Berger Services, a subsidiary of WSP, is currently looking for a full time Onboarding Operations Manager to support the LOGCAP V project.


Louis Berger Services, Inc is a subsidiary of WSP that provides operations and maintenance and EPC services to a wide range of commercial, federal and state and local power and infrastructure clients. We operate in CONUS and OCUNUS locations and are headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina. The position will be assigned to Louis Berger Aircraft Services and will be physically located in Kuwait. The position will be part of the Program Management Office but will report to the Director of Human Resources (Home Office) with an oversight by the Regional Program Manager.


  • Manage the daily Human Resources functions supporting over 400 direct employees and serve as the HR lead for LOGCAP CENTCOM.
  • Consult and advise on employment issues with the executive LOGCAP and the Director, Human Resources, Louis Berger Services
  • Work with Louis Berger Services talent acquisition to identify available talent to recruit for positions on the LOGCAP V project.
  • Prepare weekly recruitment and onboarding reports.
  • Schedule and coordinate employee events – Including townhall meetings for new recruitment efforts.
  • Lead and manage all human resources components of the onboarding process. The company will process all staff and contract employees through onboarding involving the following activities.
  • Conduct Compliance and ethics training;
  • Manage all procedures for obtaining appropriate employment visas;
  • Uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) assignment;
  • Collaborate with Project Development Support Services (PDSS) to obtain and distribute the appropriate technology resources to staff
  • Manage the pre-employment drug testing and background checks process for all new hire employees;
  • Assist new hire employees with benefits enrollment;
  • Assignment orientation – tour of the facility – debrief on current state of the project – general orientation to the worksite and key points of interest;
  • Provide status updates to key members of operations management and LOGCAP leadership team on the status of the pipeline from offer acceptance to “boots on the ground”;
  • Study and analyze onboarding process and subprocesses to identify opportunities for efficiency;
  • Coordinate with Health and Safety and Security managers in order to coordinate HR, Security and Health and Safety actions to be taken within the onboarding process as well as daily operations
  • Will travel to LOGCAP CENTCOM work sites in Kuwait and Iraq when necessary to address workplace issues requiring HR involvement.


  • Minimum of seven years (7) of Human Resources Management experience. Previous talent acquisition experience preferable.
  • SHRM certification or graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing the onboarding of large BOSS projects.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to and work overseas (geographic locations are Kuwait and the Marshall Islands)
  • Strong organization skills; previous experience leading and working within teams
  • Proven experience planning and executing HR processes.
  • Experience in conflict resolution.
  • Has experience working on projects with demanding deadlines and contingencies
  • Have experience working with US classified programs and cleared employees
  • Able to work long hours to achieve successful results
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and effective at collaborating with internal and external partners
  • Knowledge and experience of/with Microsoft Office Suite of products – Outlook/Word/Excel
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize several issues at one time and execute results
